On the afternoon of January 25, provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee and Fatherland Front Committee held a get-together for religious dignitaries and ethnic minority people on the occasion of the Tet (Lunar New Year) festival 2019.
The event was attended by Nguyen Thanh Liem, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Nguyen Van Loc, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee’s Mass Mobilization Commission; Nguyen Thi Kim Oanh, Vice-Chairwoman of provincial People’s Council; Dang Minh Hung, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee; representatives of sectors, departments, Chinese community, religious dignitaries and ethnic minority people in the province.
At the event, Mr.Hung informed delegates of the local socio-economic development in 2018. Last year, the province’s economy continued reaching stable development. The province also continued paying more attention to socio-cultural fields. Particularly, the province spent nearly VND945billion on taking care of revolutionary contributors and realizing social welfare activities; created jobs for more than 46,000 laborers…
Speaking at the event, Mr.Liem wanted that the local religious dignitaries, ethnic minority people will further uphold their patriotic spirit and join hands with the Party, the State, Fatherland Front and mass organizations to well realize social charity activities. On behalf of provincial leaders, he wished the local religious dignitaries, Chinese community and ethnic minority people a peaceful and prosperous New Year.
