50 typical “street knights” nationwide were honored at the get-together held in HCMC’s Hoa Binh Theatre. Deputies and participants were admired achievements done by members of Binh Duong Club for crime control. Possibly speaking, the club’s members have greatly contributed to local movement of “All people protect national security”.
Assessing achievements done by the knights, lieutenant-general Nguyen Huu Uoc, vice head of force building bureau under the Ministry of Public Security, said “For a long time, people’s police force have encouraged and companied typical examples in the movement of “All people protect national security”. The sparkling achievements and good deeds from the typical examples are applauded by the public. In the coming time, mass media of the people’s police force will encourage the typical examples constantly.
The organizing board of the get-together granted VND100mil funded by donors to typical “street knights” but after that the honored knights re-donated the bonus to the “Truong Sa building” program initiated by the Youth Newspaper.
In the coming time, the provincial Public Security will hold training classes on legal knowledge and martial art for members of anti-crime clubs.
It is hoped that this is a premise to help street knights grasp legal knowledge and basic skills to obtain higher achievements.
