On the afternoon of October 2, Binh Duong Radio and Television Station held a get-together to commemorate its 47th anniversary (October 2, 1977 - October 2, 2024) and celebrate 30 years of Sang Be Television broadcasting (September 2, 1994 - September 2, 2024).
The event was attended by Nguyen Minh Triet, former Politburo Member and former State President; Nguyen Hoang Thao, Permanent Vice Secretary of provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Van Loc, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee and Chairman of provincial People's Council; Truong Thi Bich Hanh, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee and Head of provincial Party Committee’s Propaganda-Education Commission; former provincial leaders over periods and leaders of provincial departments and agencies.
Over the past 47 years, Sang Be Radio Station, now Binh Duong Radio and Television Station, strived to fulfill its role as the province’s media agency, promptly delivering provincial policies and directives to the people and business community, fostering consensus and contributing to the province’s socio-economic development. Especially, the broadcasting of Song Be Television in Thu Dau Mot town and the exploration of the UHF frequency band in 1994 created a significant breakthrough for the television sector, establishing the reputation of the Song Be Radio and Television Station.
In his speech, Mr. Loc praised the contributions of the station’s successive generations of leaders, staff, reporters, editor and technicians to the overall development of the province. He also urged Binh Duong Radio and Television Station to continue serving as a bridge between the Party, the government and the people while innovating and improving program quality to meet the province’s new development demands. In addition, Binh Duong Radio and Television Station needs to promptly identify, encourage and promote exemplary models, new factors and innovative initiatives in all fields; strengthen the reflection of the people's thoughts and aspirations to the Party and government…
On this occasion, Binh Duong Radio and Television Station awarded 20 scholarships to the local poor-but-excellent students.
