On November 21, provincial Red Cross Society (RCS) held a get-together to mark the 72nd anniversary of the Vietnam Red Cross Society (VRCS) (November 23, 1946-November 23, 2018). Attending the event were representative of the VRCS Central Committee, officials and members of provincial RCS.
At the get-together, delegates reviewed the tradition of the VRCS during the past 72 years. After 72 years of development, the VRCS reached positive results in the realization of movements and campaigns, absorbing the participation of numerous organizations, donors and people from all strata. All contributed to well carrying out the Party and State’s policies on social welfare. With the attention and instruction of authorities at all levels, the province’s Red Cross movements constantly developed and created a vigorous hallmark in the life of the community…
On this occasion, doctor Lam Hoang Minh, Head of provincial RCS’s Healthcare Department was awarded the certificate of merit of the Prime Minister for his achievements in humanitarian work.
