Early August 10, Dau Tieng district’s Red Cross Society held a "zero dong” market-day in Thanh An commune. The event was attended by Nguyen Van Loi, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Head of provincial National Assembly Deputy Delegation.

Speaking at the event, Mr.Loi highly appreciated the efforts by the Red Cross Associations of the province and Dau Tieng district and the local authorities in organizing the "zero dong” market. He thanked sponsors for their financial support to organize a meaningful and humane market-day while wanting that there will be more "zero dong” market-days organized throughout the province in the coming time.
At the event, 200 gifts worth VND 700,000 each were given to 200 disadvantaged families in Thanh An commune, with a total value of about VND 150 million.
On this occasion, provincial Party Committee Secretary donated VND 100 million to the program "Zero dong” market-day program" of provincial Red Cross Association.
