Accordingly, 200 gifts were given for needy people in Phu Loi and Phu Hoa wards. It is known that each gift included 5 kg of rice and a box of instant noodle, funded by staff of the center.
*Phu Giao district’s Red Cross Society yesterday donated 150 gifts worth VND300,000 each, including 15 kg of rice, a box of instant noodle and 1 mask, to lottery ticket vendors with difficult circumstances in Phuoc Vinh town and communes of An Binh, Tan Lap, Tan Long, An Linh and An Thai.
The above gifts were sponsored by donors and the society’s humanitarian fund. This was one of the society’s practical activities in response to the Humanitarian Month 2020.
With the theme of “Joining hands to overcome Covid-19 pandemic”, the district’s Red Cross Society continues offering additional 166 gifts to lottery ticket vendors in the remaining communes of the district today, April 17.
*The same day, Eximbank’s Binh Duong branch gave 200 gifts worth VND50million for needy people in TDM city’s Phu Hoa ward during Covid-19 pandemic. It is known that each gift comprised of 20 kg of rice.
Do Tien Dung, Director of Eximbank’s Binh Duong branch said that the branch’s Directorate and Trade Union called for all staff to raise money while partially extracting the branch’s profits to organize a charity program named “Eximbank Binh Duong supporting needy people to overcome Covid-19 pandemic”
