On the afternoon of April 13, Vietnam Lottery Company (Vietlott) coordinated with the local administration to offer more than 400 gifts, including rice and necessities, to poor people and lottery ticket vendors affected by Covid-19 pandemic in TDM city’s Phu Hoa and Phu Cuong wards.
This was one of Vietlott’s social welfare programs, aiming to offer help to the poor and lottery ticket vendors during the 15-day nationwide social distancing period to curb COVID-19.
In the coming time, Vietlott will continue accompanying the society to share difficulties with people with extremely difficult circumstances and lottery ticket vendors.
*On the afternoon of the same day, the Women’s Union of Phu Hoa ward in TDM city donated 50 gifts worth VND400,000 each, including 10 kg of rice, 1 box of instant noodle, cooking oil, soya sauce and 2 anti-bacterial masks, to 50 needy members.
Prior to that, the ward’s Women’s Union also offered 50 gifts worth VND300,000 and 2 cloth masks each to members of sub-unions for workers at lodging facilities affected by Covid-19 pandemic; gave 50 others for needy members under 17 sub-unions for female workers at lodging facilities and 2 sub-unions at non-State businesses.
