A charity delegation
from provincial Red Cross Society and small traders in Thuan An town’s Lai
Thieu ward has just visited and presented gifts to poor ethnic minority people
in Dakrong district’s two communes of A Vao and Ba Nang in the central province of Quang Tri.

Accordingly, the delegation donated 570 gifts, including rice, instant noodle, sugar, salt, clothes and other essential commodities, to poor ethnic minority people in two communes of A Vao and Ba Nang. On this occasion, the delegation visited a charity kitchen for poor patients at Dakrong district’s Hospital while giving 1,500 kg of rice, some essential commodities and VND5mln in cash for the charity kitchen; visited and presented 300 gifts to primary school pupils in Ba Nang commune.
It is known that this charity program has a total expense of VND420mln, funded by small traders from Lai Thieu ward’s charity delegation.
