On the occasion of the 68th founding anniversary of Vietnam Red Cross Society (November 23, 1946-November 23, 2014), Binh Duong province’s Red Cross Society has just teamed up with provincial Buddhist Sangha’s Charity Board to visit and present a Red Cross house and gifts to poor households in Lagi town’s Binh Tan ward in the central province of Binh Thuan.
The delegation handed over a Red Cross house to Duong Duc Dat, a poor resident in Binh Tan ward. The 40-square meter house is worth VND40mln. In addition, the delegation gave gifts worth VND400,000 each, comprising of essential commodities and cash, for 100 poor households in the ward. These gifts were funded provincial Red Cross Society, provincial Buddhist Sangha’s Charity Board and Thuan Thien pagoda in TDM city.
