The Club of Southeastern book and school equipment companies, on April 14, held the annual conference 2017 in Binh Duong province with focus on reviewing the situation of books, libraries and school equipment in the region and members’ activities in 2016.
These companies last year ensured an adequate and synchronous supply of text books and support ones for pupils from 1st to 12th grade. They also got involved in setting up “moral bookstore”, “legal bookstore” models…; effectively realized the campaign of raising old text books for poor pupils; implemented a national program on drowning prevention in some localities…
In the 2017-2018 academic year, they will be proactive to publish books, office supplies and learning equipment in a timely and synchronous way; focus on supplying hi-quality reference books for libraries at schools in the region…
At the conference, publishers and businesses also donated books valued at VND230million to 28 libraries at schools in the province.
