Giving livelihood to poor women members

To implement "Livelihood support" program for poor and disadvantaged women members launched by Women's Union at all levels, Women's Union of Vinh Hoa commune in Phu Giao district has given breeding chickens to 2 women members of poor households who are in difficult circumstances and have no capital for production.

Accordingly, the Women's Union supported Ninh Thi Hai, a member of Women's Union of Bung Rieng hamlet, and Cao Thi Kieu Nga, a member of Women's Union of Vinh An hamlet; each member received 100 breeding chickens, total cost of 7 million VND, which was donated by Women's Union of Vinh Hoa commune, Phu Giao district. Nguyen Thi Huong, Chairwoman of Women's Union of Vinh Hoa commune, hopes that the two women who received the livelihood source would take good care of the chickens so that they can have better living conditions for their family and children.
