Going to each house to encourage and guide people through Bluezone installation

Due to the spreading of Covid-19 across the country, to contribute to the pandemic prevention and control in the province, on August 17, Chairman of Provincial People's Committee Tran Thanh Liem signed Directive No. 12/CT-UBND on accelerating the installation of Bluezone mobile application (photo).

Accordingly, in order to urgently implement the Prime Minister's instruction on the installation of Bluezone on people' smartphones, the Chairman asked Chairmen of district and commune People's Committees to direct the implementation of Bluezone. In particular, chairmen of commune-level People's Committees mobilized the entire political and social system to join in this campaign by going to each house to introduce and guide people having smartphones through the installation, ensuring that at least 60% of smart phone users in the area would have Bluezone app installed by August 20, 2020. Chairmen of district-level People's Committees need to direct, monitor, and collect information on the implementation of communes, wards, towns, agencies, units and organizations in the area, then report to Provincial People's Committee through Department of Information and communication.

In addition, Chairman of Provincial People's Committee also requested Department of Health to urge the entire medical staff to install Bluezone and instruct patients to install this app. Directors of provincial Department of Education and Training, Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, principals of universities in the province required students having smartphones to install Bluezone for themselves and their family. Members of all-level Steering Committees for the Covid-19 Prevention and Control need to thoroughly directed this installation. Director of Provincial Center for Disease Control, and Executive Heads of concentrated quarantine areas at the provincial and district level require citizens, who are in centralized quarantine, home quarantine, and citizens subject to Covid-19 testing to install Bluezone.

Previously, Chairman of Provincial People's Committee also issued Document No. 3768/UBND-VX dated 6 August 2020 on the application of information technology in Covid-19 prevention and control.
