Under statistics, 1,367 clubs and 110 groups with 55 different models for 42,000 members have been established at all level of Provincial Association of Women. The clubs have become an effective communication channel to disseminate policies and guidelines of the Party and the State.Established in July 2011, Ngoi Nha Xanh (Green House) Club of My Phuoc Townlet Sub-association of women eyed effective operations.

Phuoc Townlet, Ben Cat District are cleaning up surrounding environment Up to date, 5 clubs have been established across 5 quarters of the townlet on basis of the first club at Quarter 3. Ms. Nguyen Thi Hiep, Head of the club informed that her club has been governing about 680 households in a complex zone of hostels. The club was established in a bid to follow movements of Vietnam Federation of Women. Quarterly, the club is opened with topics varying from children education to crime prevention and hygiene life practice.The club also coordinates with local environment protection group to collect garbage and ensure environment hygiene in residential area.Now that 135 members have been admitted to the club to encourage better family livehood.Another example was Nhan ai (Humanity) Club of Lai Thieu Ward Sub-association of Women in Thuan An Town where members were so engaged to meaningful actions.Mrs. Nguyen Thi Bich Hien, Deputy Head of the club informed that the 36-member club was to help members overcome hardship.By its charity manner in operation, the club has facilitated plenty of help to its members and homeless children to follow their schooling.After 2 years of establishment, the club members have donated over VND 55 million to construct charity houses and fund scholarship for school students in poverty as well as to fund health insurance for women and children in poverty.Additionally, the members have been offered with VND 10-million loans to develop household businesses.A channel to attract more membersMrs. Doan Thi Dieu Hien, Chair of Provincial Federation of Women informed that taking the motto of operation reforms and grassroots orientation, the establishments of such clubs in accordance with profession, age, and hobbies have effectively promoted the members.The federation has been considering club establishment as the major channel to attract more participants.Mrs. Doan Thi Dieu Hien highly appreciated the efforts of members in actions and voluntary activities for the community. Besides, the clubs have become the trusted place to share up experience in families and children nurturing.
