On the afternoon of July 9, Nguyen Loc Ha, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of provincial People's Committee, chaired a meeting to hear the report on preparations for hosting the 29th Southeastern  Fine Arts Exhibition in 2024 in Binh Duong.

At the meeting, representatives of relevant departments, sectors and units reported on advantages, difficulties, and progress of the preparation work for the Southeast Region Fine Arts Exhibition. According to the plan, the Southeast Region Fine Arts Exhibition will take place in August 2024, with the participation of 9 provinces, namely Binh Thuan, Ninh Thuan, Binh Duong, Binh Phuoc, Dong Nai, Tay Ninh, Lam Dong, Dak Nong and Ba Ria - Vung Tau. The exhibition will feature approximately 250 works, with various forms, including painting, graphics, sculpture and applied arts, reflecting the diverse and vivid life and socio-economic fields of the Southeastern provinces, selected and approved by the Vietnam Fine Arts Association.

Concluding the meeting, Mr. Ha basically agreed with the content of the plan while noting that for any difficulties and obstacles, relevant sectors need to promptly compile and submit them to provincial People's Committee for consideration and resolution to ensure thorough preparation for a successful exhibition. He also suggested enhancing communication efforts to attract a large number of people to visit the exhibition.
