Early November 21, Nguyen Loc Ha, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of provincial People's Committee chaired a meeting to hear departments and sectors’ reports on the preparation and implementation of activities related to a number of great holidays to be held in late 2024 and early 2025.
At the meeting, representatives of provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism said that in the series of activities to celebrate the 2025 New Year and the 28th founding anniversary of Binh Duong province (January 1, 1997 - January 1, 2025), there will be a commendation ceremony for outstanding collectives and individuals in 2024 associated with awarding the Binh Duong Identity Design Contest, organizing an art performance and welcoming fireworks display.
In activities to celebrate the 95th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2025), there will be activities to visit elderly Party members and grasp the situation of grassroots Party activities; visit provincial Martyrs’ Cemetery; a get-together to celebrate the 95th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2025), with the number of delegates being about 1,000 people.
The scale and content of activities to celebrate the 2025 Tet (Lunar New Year) festival are the same as last year. The diplomatic corps meeting is expected to be held on December 20, 2024 while meetings of the press, artists, and typical intellectuals will be held after Tet.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Ha noted that departments and sectors need to coordinate well to carry out preparatory work so that activities to celebrate major holidays take place under the issued plan. During the preparatory process, if there are any difficulties or problems, departments and sectors need to report them early for timely solutions, ensuring that these celebrations take place thoughtfully, solemnly and create a joyful atmosphere throughout the entire Party, people and army.
