The Global Partnership for Education (GPE) intends to spend US$85 million on applying a new model of education in Vietnam over the next three years, said its Director, Robert Prouty.
GPE collects funds from individuals and organizations in 20 countries and has benefited 50 countries.
Every year the fund grants US$500 million in non-refundable aid and this year, the figure is expected to reach US$700 million.
GPE will focus on all schools in 20 most disadvantaged provinces while one school in each of the other 22 provinces, that have more favourable conditions, will be selected to take part in the project.
