Granting green cards to workers in the “green zone”, tightening the “red zone”

In the face of the situation of Covid-19 pandemic being controlled, provincial Party Standing Committee has directed units and localities to quickly reorganize production in the new context.

Provincial Party Standing Committee has assigned provincial Industrial Parks’ Management Board, Department of Industry and Trade the pilot implementation of production plans for a number of enterprises, thereby getting experience to replicate the model. Units participating in the pilot model must be given priority to vaccinating workers on the principle of identifying workers in the "green zone", researching and granting green cards to workers in the "green zone" and tightening the "red zone". Provincial Industrial Parks’ Management Board will approve plans of reorganizing production from enterprises in the industrial parks. Provincial Department of Industry and Trade will approve the plans for reorganizing production of enterprises in the industrial compounds. Meanwhile, district-level People's Committee chairpersons are responsible for approving the plans for re-organization of production of enterprises outside the local industrial parks and compounds.

Along with organizing production in the new context, provincial Party Standing Committee also agreed a plan to build the "green zone" at traditional markets, supermarkets, trade centers, convenience stores…from September 1. Provincial Police Agency will design green cards to grant them for people in the "green zone".

In addition, provincial Party Standing Committee reached unanimity on further implementing the local policy on buying Covid-19 vaccines to inject people; further mobilizing and requisitioning about 500 Youth Union members in each district, town and city, 1,000 employees from departments, sectors in the province  to participate in Covid-19 prevention and control with concrete tasks such as taking samples, supporting injection sites...
