In the comprehensive development journey of Binh Duong province, the initiative to cultivate a cultural and civilized lifestyle has evolved into a persistent movement, profoundly influencing every neighborhood, alley, and aspect of daily life for the residents. Integral to these positive and sustainable transformations is the significant role of the Fatherland Front system at the grassroots level, which serves as a pivotal force in uniting and enhancing the strength of the great national unity bloc.
Uniting communities through tangible initiatives
Recently, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee at the grassroots level in the province has effectively collaborated with the government and member organizations to implement numerous practical initiatives aimed at fostering and disseminating a sense of responsibility among the populace in the creation of a civilized and healthy living environment.
In Thuan An City, the Fatherland Front at all levels has employed numerous innovative and adept methods to convey the Party's guidelines and policies, as well as the State's laws, to the populace. Beyond mere propaganda, the Front organizations actively mobilize and guide citizens in maintaining order, ensuring environmental cleanliness, and enhancing urban landscapes. Initiatives such as "Front-led - people self-govern," "Urban civilized self-governing group," "Flower route," and "Garbage-free neighborhood" not only enhance aesthetics but also promote a responsible lifestyle, thereby contributing to the development of a cohesive, compassionate, and caring community.
In Phu Tan Ward, Thu Dau Mot City, the efficacy of the Fatherland Front's advocacy efforts is evident in the transformation of public awareness and behavior. The initiative to cultivate a cultural and civilized lifestyle has evolved from a mere abstract concept into a consistent practice, actively embraced by the community. Efforts such as maintaining public hygiene, eliminating illegal advertisements, participating in community labor days, and contributing materials for public infrastructure all demonstrate a strong consensus among residents. Consequently, the appearance of Phu Tan Ward is becoming increasingly spacious, clean, and aesthetically pleasing, reflecting the cultural ethos of each family within the neighborhood community.

Models associated with practice
The initiative to cultivate a civilized lifestyle has been successfully implemented not only in urban areas but also in various localities. In Tam Lap commune (Phu Giao district), the efforts of the Fatherland Front Committee have established a notable connection within the community through specific programs that resonate with daily life, such as planting flowers along roadways, installing security cameras, erecting flagpoles, and setting up propaganda billboards. These straightforward yet impactful activities have enhanced the rural landscape while fostering a sense of self-awareness and proactivity among residents in safeguarding their living environment.
In An Thuan Hamlet (Phu An Commune, Ben Cat City), the implementation of "Civilized Saturday," along with initiatives to clean up, plant flowers, and promote socialized traffic routes, has become an integral part of daily life, fostering a strong connection between the government, the Fatherland Front, and the community. The "Community Green Nursery Group" model not only enhances the local landscape but also advocates for environmental protection and sustainable development. Since its inception, the "Model Community Green Nursery Group" has supplied 218 seedlings for planting on the An Thuan Hamlet Office campus and has cultivated, grafted, and pruned 125 white bougainvillea trees and 113 cactus plants, thereby contributing to the greenery along the model road in An Thuan Hamlet.
A notable characteristic evident across all localities is the persistence, dedication, and adaptability of the grassroots Fatherland Front system in sustaining and replicating effective models. Each project and activity, regardless of scale, is established on the foundation of community consensus, guided by the principle "people know, people discuss, people act, people evaluate, people benefit." This principle is the essential element that fosters the success and enduring vitality of the movements. |
Mr. Ngo Thanh Nhon, Head of the Front Work Committee of Cay Da Quarter, Thanh Phuoc Ward, Tan Uyen City, stated that the Front Work Committee extends beyond mere propaganda, actively engaging in social mobilization to execute numerous practical initiatives. These initiatives include the creation of flower roads, the establishment of promotional billboard routes, the installation of lighting, and the provision of garbage collection houses, as well as organizing the signing of commitments to foster a cultural lifestyle. Such specific and cohesive activities have significantly contributed to the development of a civilized urban lifestyle, enhancing both the spiritual and material quality of life for the residents of the neighborhood. Notably, the Front Work Committee has successfully mobilized resources to restore 76 flower baskets, implemented the Go Trac Pano road, installed three garbage collection houses along DT 747 road, repaired three street lights with a total of 45 bulbs, and installed new lighting on Con Mieu street, comprising 10 bulbs.
A notable characteristic evident across all localities is the persistence, dedication, and adaptability of the grassroots Fatherland Front system in sustaining and replicating effective models. Each project and activity, regardless of scale, is established on the foundation of public consensus, guided by the principle "the people know, the people discuss, the people act, the people evaluate, the people benefit." This principle is the crucial element contributing to the success and enduring vitality of the movements.
Beyond mere statistics and effective models, the crucial aspect is that the movement to cultivate a cultural and civilized lifestyle is progressively gaining self-awareness, integrating into the daily lives of individuals. This evolution fosters the creation of cohesive communities, where individuals interact harmoniously with one another and with their shared environment, thereby contributing to the modern, sustainable development of Binh Duong province while preserving a robust identity.
In the near future, the Fatherland Front system at all levels will continue to assert its role as a vital link between the Party, the government, and the populace, steadfastly supporting the people in preserving and promoting the nation's esteemed cultural values. With a commitment to responsibility and proximity to the grassroots, the Fatherland Front will remain a crucial force in cultivating a cultural and civilized lifestyle, contributing to the development of a more progressive, humane, and sustainable society each day.
