In the afternoon of August 29, at Binh Duong provincial Convention and Exhibition Center, the provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control held a meeting of gratitude and farewell to the medical team, doctors, and medical students from 3 provinces of Bac Giang, Ha Tinh, and Binh Dinh. Attending the meeting was Mr. Nguyen Van Loc, Standing Member, Head of the provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization, Chairman of the provincial Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee, Ms. Truong Thi Bich Hanh, Standing Member, Head of the Propaganda Division of the provincial Party Committee and leaders of departments, agencies and branches.
Provincial leaders award certificates of merit to 7 individuals with outstanding achievements in supporting Binh Duong in the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic
In over the past 1 month, the medical union of Bac Giang province (37 members), Ha Tinh province (31 members), and Binh Dinh province (17 members) have managed to get through difficulties and dangers in the efforts to support treatment at field hospitals in Binh Duong province, contributing to the controlling and preventing the Covid-19 epidemic.
On behalf of the Party Committee, authorities and people of Binh Duong province, Mr. Nguyen Van Loc greatly thanked the 3 delegations and said that the aid and support of the delegations has extremely been meaningful to show humanity. Up to now, Binh Duong has more than 30 medical groups and volunteer doctors with over 2,500 doctors and medical students including over 1,500 doctors and medical students who have parted with the province. Mr. Loc wished that the provinces and cities would continue to support and provide aid to Binh Duong at this time to soon control and repel the epidemic.
On behalf of the delegations, specialist doctor I Hoang Truong Giang, Head of the Medical Union and doctors of Bac Giang province thanked Binh Duong province's leaders for their concern and support to help the delegation accomplish their tasks. Doctor Hoang Truong Giang said that while working in Binh Duong, Bac Giang province's medical union and doctors shared a lot of experience in disease treatment and control in Bac Giang province. Dr. Giang wished Binh Duong province to quickly control the epidemic and bring life back to normal soon.
On this occasion, the provincial People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 7 individuals with outstanding achievements in supporting Binh Duong in the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic. Provincial leaders also extended gratitude gifts to members of the 3 working groups.
