Early October 18, Electricity of Vietnam Southern Power Corporation (EVN SPC) in collaboration with Binh Duong Electricity Company and provincial Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs held a ceremony to hand over 2 gratitude houses to policy beneficiaries.
The first house of over 42 square meters was given for Nguyen Thi Lan, a martyrs’ child in An Dien commune’s An Son hamlet in Ben Cat town, with total cost of VND 90million, including VND50million from EVN SPC, VND30million from provincial Gratitude Fund and the remainder from her family. And the second one of 56 square meters was for Tran Van Hiep, a martyr’s child in Dau Tieng township’s quarter 3 in Dau Tieng district, with total cost of VND105million, comprising of VND50million from EVN SPC, VND30million from provincial Gratitude Fund and VND25million from his family.
After the ceremony, the local government, units and donors also offered gifts to the two families.
*The same day, Di An town’s Fund for the Poor donated 2 “great unity” houses to the local poor people.
The first house was for Tran Thi Thanh Thuy in Binh An ward’s Noi Hoa 1 quarter with total cost of VND130million, including VND80million from the town’s Fund for the Poor and the remainder from her family. And the second one was for Nguyen Trung Chanh in Di An ward’s Thang Loi 2 quarter with total cost of VND 90million, including VND80million from the town’s Fund for the Poor and the remainder from his family.
