In the afternoon of September 27, the People's Committee of Binh Duong province will announce the Green Book in 2018 to recognize and honor outstanding achievements in environmental protection of enterprises. Attending the ceremony were Mr. Mai Hung Dung, Standing Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and other related departments.
At the ceremony, Nguyen Hong Nguyen, Deputy Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment appreciated the sense of environmental protection, the sense of responsibility of enterprises in business and production. Enterprises have fully expressed their roles and responsibilities to the community, to the society and contribute positively to successfully implement the objectives of preventing and improving the environmental quality of Binh Duong province. It can be said that 66 enterprises have been listed in the Green Book and are recognized as the bright spots in the cause of environmental protection of the province in recent years.
Speaking at the announcement, Mai Hung Dung said that to Binh Duong sustainable development can not not rely on the three pillars of economic, social and environmental; Environment is an important and indispensable pillar in the cause of sustainable development. Today, businesses and individuals will be recognized as a pioneer in environmental protection in the province, thereby promoting, attracting and mobilizing more and more individuals and organizations to participate in the environmental protection of the province.
