With the task of gathering, building and growing the strength of great national unity, in recent years, the Fatherland Front at all levels in Bac Tan Uyen district has mobilized synergy, developed many pervasive movements and campaigns, contributing to successfully implementing the tasks of socio-economic development, national defense and security of the locality.
Spread strongly
During the 2019-2024 term, the Fatherland Front from the district to communes and towns of Bac Tan Uyen district has concretized targets of Party Resolutions into annual programs and plans; therefore most of the set targets were achieved. Propaganda and advocacy work is carried out with a variety of content and forms; promptly bring the Party's guidelines, State's policies, laws and local political tasks closer to all people strata.

The Fatherland Front's system from district to grassroots continued to be consolidated. The quality of the front officials has gradually improved in terms of professional qualifications and political theory. The content and operating methods of the Fatherland Front in the district, communes and towns have been innovated and brought good results. The work of Party building, government building, supervision, and social criticism is well carried out by the Fatherland Front from the district to the grassroots levels.
Movements, campaigns and programs have brought practical effects in many aspects of social life, have a strong pervasiveness, while enhancing status and innovating content and methods of the Fatherland Front at all levels according to the motto of bringing front work to residential areas; thereby creating motivation, arousing the strength of the community, strengthening the great solidarity and consensus among people of all walks of life, contributing to the implementation of socio-economic development tasks, defense and security of the district. Outstanding as the program "Residential area with bright - green - clean - beautiful environmental landscape" in 10 communes and towns. The entire district has implemented 82/221 self-managing groups, with 6,310 households’ participation.
Le Huynh Le, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Tan Uyen district, said this program has really spread. People actively took part in the program, namely regularly cleaning the environment, planting trees and flowers on roads, public places, and in their homes, with 1,399 campaigns, attracting 12,897 participants with a length of nearly 54km. Roads were upgraded with concrete, and 254 lights were installed worth 516 million VND... Nguyen Van Hung, who lives in Tan Thanh town, shared: “I find this program very meaningful, making the residential areas more beautiful. I think it is necessary to continue expanding this model to contribute to promoting local development."
Strong direction towards the grassroots level
According to Le Huynh Le, with the theme "Enhancing the core political role, promoting the strength of the great solidarity bloc, participating in building a prospoerous, beautiful and civilized Bac Tan Uyen district", tenure 2024-2029, the Fatherland Front of Bac Tan Uyen district will continue to innovate the content and methods of operation, focus strongly on the grassroots, strongly promote the roles and responsibilities of member organizations and advisory boards, meeting requirements and tasks; diversify forms of propaganda and gathering to build great national unity in the new period.
The district Fatherland Front system will well perform the task of representing and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of the people; develop democracy, improve the quality of social supervision and criticism activities, actively participate in building the Party, government and political system; strengthen social consensus, arouse patriotic traditions, national pride, and aspirations to develop the homeland.
The district Fatherland Front will continue to launch patriotic emulation movements, campaigns, promote learning emulation, creative labor, participate in socio-economic development, build new rural areas, and maintain political security, social order and safety, contributing to the rapid and sustainable development of Bac Tan Uyen district...

During the past term, the Fatherland Front at all levels in Bac Tan Uyen district mobilized and gave gifts, scholarships to people having difficult circumstances with a total cost of over 8 billion VND; called on for donations to Fund for the Poor of over 4.3 billion VND; donated and repaired 34 great solidarity houses, charity houses, comrades houses, and charity houses worth totally 2.4 billion VND. As implementing the movement "Solidarity, creativity", "Good people, good deeds", the whole district has 69 initiatives registered, of which 13 initiatives were recognized by the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee’s Appraisal Council. The "Good people, good deeds" movement has been propagated by the Fatherland Front from district to grassroots; launched thematic emulations associated with patriotic emulation movements, exemplary and advanced examples in units to the community; as a result, many bright examples of "Good people, good deeds" have appeared... |
