Numerous people across districts, towns and Thu Dau Mot city last night gathered at hubs of Thu Dau Mot city and Binh Duong New City, main streets and churches to enjoy Christmas holiday.

Numerous lively activities on X’mas
Across streets, houses, parks and central areas overwhelmed colorful lights and songs about X’mas. In Thu Dau Mot city, from 8 p.m people flocked to the municipal hubs, Bach Dang night market, new city, Phu Cuong Church and more to enjoy X’mas holiday, creating a lively ambience.
This year’s Christmas holiday in Thu Dau Mot city attracted thousands of people to admire X’mas tree with the height of 36 meters, the highest in Vietnam, being put at Thanh Le cultural park. Herein, visitors enjoyed performance items of more than 450 Santa Claus, music shows performed by famous singers from the Ho Chi Minh City.
Le Vy Yen Phuong, student of Binh Duong University said “Christmas holiday is nowadays for all everyone. On this holiday, I often arrive at entertainment areas to take photos, enjoy music shows. In addition, I often advise my friends to obey the Law on road traffic to ensure traffic safety on this holiday”.
In Thuan An town, X’mas ambience was lively like big central areas of Binh Duong province. Stone caves installed colorful lights, X’mas trees with lights and small gifts were decorated thoroughly, luring numerous people to take photos. At Bung Church in Hung Dinh ward, Thuan An town, a music show was held to cater for local people and Catholic believers. Items under well preparation were performed by the church’s “actors” and “singers”.
Meanwhile, on the main street leading to Lac An commune, North Tan Uyen district, where is home to more than 90% of Catholic people, became bustling with lively X’mas ambience. Dang Huu Thach, vice chairman of Lac An commune Fatherland Front Committee said that in this year’s Christmas holiday local churches were decorated beautifully. On the nights of Dec. 24 and 25, many local churches held significant musical programs to serve for local Catholic believers and residents.
Enjoying musical items performed by Cung dan xanh band in Di An town, young people and workers in Di An town were very happy because they enjoyed a healthy playground on Christmas holiday. Tran Ngoc Han, worker of Di An train factory said that this year’s X’mas holiday she feels very excited because local authority held many significant entertainment activities. The musical night brought a great joy for all everyone after serious working hours.

Along with lively ambience of Christmas holiday, Santa Claus with great gift bags appeared on many streets to present gifts to children. Le Thi Thanh in Thu Dau Mot city said “My child was very excited to receive Christmas gifts from Santa Claus. We are not the Catholic believers but we still involve in X’mas activities for relax”.
Nowadays, many people often take photos on Christmas holiday. Grasping the demand, many photo stores in the province decorated attractive stone caves to lure clients. At Lan Phuong photo store on Yersin street, Thu Dau Mot city, numerous people waited for taking photos. Nguyen Thanh Hung, the owner of Lan Phuong photo store said “In early December, we started decorating stone caves and X’mas trees to cater for the X’mas holiday. In this year, we invested in 2 stone caves, Santa Claus to make up strange and beautiful scenes for clients”.
This year’s Christmas night became lively with numerous significant and healthy activities held throughout localities. This was also a good opportunity for everyone to extend best wishes for a happy New Year.
