Early March 1, the Vietnamese Children's Fund coordinated to give to 100 children orphaned due to COVID-19 under the program of "Hao Hao Fund joining hands for children affected by the COVID-19 pandemic" campaigned by the Vietnamese Children’s Fund. In the program, each child is offered VND 1 million, including VND 500,000 in cash and 1 set of learning tools worth VND 500,000 along with a gift from the sponsors.
Binh Duong has nearly 320 children who have lost loved ones in the recent epidemic. In order to join hands to alleviate the loss of children, the provincial Children Fund has implemented the program of "Long-term sponsorship" for school children whose parents died due to COVID-19. As of December 31, 2021, 123 children have been helped; each month, primary school students receive VND 700,000, secondary school students VND 900,000 and high school students VND 1.2 million.
