Hoa Nghiem Pagoda is entitled as a cultural and historical remain Local people call Hoa Nghiem Pagoda the familiar name of Ba Lung Monk Pagoda named under Ba Lung Monk who was identified as Pham Kim Dung from Ninh Binh Province.In 1930s, the monk migrated to Binh Duong Province and worked as rubber tree taper for local plantations.Keeping in mind of the wish to establish a location for local people to practice Buddhism, he saved his time to clear up the land for the construction of the pagoda.His dream was followed and supported by plantation workers. By 1954, Xuan was transferred to the North.Besides, the pagoda was also a place for operation of pioneers against French colony and cache for propaganda leftlets.until resistance war against the US Army, Hoa Nghiem Pagoda was used for revoluntionary activities.
