Houses of gratitude granted to descendants of martyrs

* Health enquiries and gifts given to Vietnamese heroic mothers

On July 25, the People's Committee of Di An city in collaboration with the Di An Revolutionary Tradition Club under the People's Committee of Tan Dong Hiep Ward handed over the house of gratitude to the family of Nguyen Thi Kieu Nga, living at 989/6A, Dong Chieu neighborhood, Tan Dong Hiep ward on the occasion of the 76th anniversary of Martyrs' Day (July 27, 1947 to July 27, 2023). Kieu Nga is the daughter of martyr Nguyen Van Hoa, and granddaughter of Vietnamese heroic mother Doan Thi Kia.

At the ceremony, local leaders enquired for her family's health, encouraged her and gave many other valuable gifts to her family; thereby, the family wished to continue to encourage generations of children and grandchildren to follow the glorious tradition to work and study hard to build a growing and prosperous locality.

* In the morning of the same day, the People's Court of Di An city visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese heroic mother Phan Thi Cai (101 years old, living in Tan Binh ward) on the occasion of the 76th anniversary of Martyrs' Day.

Representative of Trade Union of Di An People's Court Branch kindly enquired for her health andexpressed deep gratitude for the noble sacrifices of mother Phan Thi Cai; at the same time, encouraging her to live happily and healthy with her children and grandchildren to be a solid spiritual support for them in studying and work, contributing to the development of the homeland and the country.

On this occasion, the delegation also gave 20 gifts to wounded and sick soldiers and people with meritorious services to the revolution cause in Tan Binh ward.
