Club of Volunteers sponsored by Red Cross in the grassroots have called upon help and sharing. They take sharing and happiness more serious than operation, thus, bringing joy to people in hardship.
“If there was not thanks to donators and volunteers, we would fail in operations. For years, by their help, we have conducted many meaningful charity drives. Their helps are very promotive,” said Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong, President of Tan Uyen District Red Cross.
Through the local Red Cross, 87 patients have been operated to cure cataract while charity meals are maintained at provincial hospital. From the beginning of the year, 313 patients have been supported by charity meals.
Meantime, to minimize burden of poor school children, scholarship packages have been offerd to them including presents.
Other meaningful program is charity house offerings. In 2011, 10 charity houses have been constructed.
Those volunteers believe in charity actions and help others by their own heart.
