According to the supposed situation, a fire happened at the production area on the third floor at 4 p.m on Dec. 14. After finding out the fire, the factory’s fire control force rapidly helped workers and cadres escape the fire, launched fire fighting and removed assets and simultaneously informed the professional fire fighting force.
The fire’s area was at about 150sqm and smoke covered the entire area of the fire. When Thuan An town’s professional fire fighting force arrive at the fire scene, the fire spread to other areas of more than 500sqm, because the factory contained many materials catching fire easily.
Realizing the fire remained complicated and many people were stuck in the fire, Thuan An town’s professional fire fighting force asked for assistance from the provincial Fire Prevention and Fighting Police Department directorate. As a result, the department assigned fire prevention and fighting units from Di An town, Thu Dau Mot City, Tan Uyen district, Thuan An town Public Security, Thuan An town Military Headquarters and so on to the scene of the fire.
