On the morning of June 9, the first Congress of provincial Vietnam - Netherlands Friendship Association (VNFCA) for the 2023-2028 tenure took place at provincial Exhibition and Convention Center, in attendance of 70 official delegates.
The congress took place with internal and official sessions. There were 9 members recommended to the Executive Board of the Standing Board, Inspection Board of the first provincial VNFCA. Huynh Dinh Thai Linh, Director of WTC Binh Co.Ltd. was elected as Chairwoman of the association. Le Tuan Anh, Vice-Secretary of provincial Youth Union and Dang Dinh Xuan Lam, Deputy Head of the Consular - Inspective Division under provincial Department of Foreign Affairs were elected as Vice-Chairpersons of the association.
Speaking at the congress, Tran Thi Kim Van, Chairwoman of provincial Union of Friendship Organizations said that the congress took place at a particularly meaningful time, marking the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomacy relations between Vietnam – the Netherlands. On that basis, Binh Duong has established bilateral cooperation relationships with two Dutch localities, namely Eindhoven and Emmen in many fields. Mrs.Van wanted provincial VNFCA to quickly put into operation, actively contributing to the consolidation and development of friendship and exchange relations between Binh Duong province and other localities in the Netherlands.
