“My only wish is that our parents could stay healthy to be our spiritual support in life. No matter how hard it is, I can stand and overcome provided that they stay,” said Huynh Thi Kim Ngan an 6-consecutive-year excellent school student in poverty.

She is now at Grade 12A3 of Tay Son Senior High School in Phu Giao District.
Her parents are manual workers and bread-winners for her and two other younger sisters. The current house at Lai Uyen, Ben Cat District which they are residing was built as a charity core house 7 years ago.
Ngan usually has 3 to 4 hours in the evening to work on her learning after helping parents with the housework and taking consideration of her sisters’ learning. By all-out efforts, she succeeded in winning excellent learning titles for 6 consecutive years.
Ngan is a good learner in all subjects and keeps trying more challenges.
“I want to become an employee with stable and well-off career so that I can support my family. I look at those who excel in learning and following their pathway,” she said.
Her hints of good learning are simply on following instruction and doing homework.
