On Sept. 3, Huynh Van Nghe high school in Uyen Hung ward, Tan Uyen town held the opening ceremony of the 2014-2015 school year, marked its 55th founding anniversary (1959-2014) and received the emulation flag granted by the provincial People’s Committee. Attending the ceremony were the provincial Fatherland Front Committee chairman Huynh Van Nhi and deputies.
After over half century of foundation and development, Huynh Van Nghe high school always spurs emulation movements of good teaching and learning to overcome difficulties. Over the past 55 years, the high school has trained many generations of students, offering human resources and talents for the locality. Many former students of this school have held many important positions at the Party and State’s agencies, mass bodies and authorities as well as enterprises. Promoting the glorious tradition, in the school year of 2013-2014, the high school gained emulation flags and many encouraging achievements.
As a result, 100% of students passed the final exams in the past academic year. Speaking at the opening ceremony, Huynh Van Nhi applauded and congratulated achievements done by the high school’s teachers and students and steered that the high school should boost up researches of innovation of programs, contents and teaching and learning methods to promote students’ creation.
On this occasion, Nguyen Thi Tuyet My, the 12th grader gained Huynh Van Nghe scholarship for her excellent learning results in the school year of 2013-2014. In addition, the high school granted scholarships each worth VND500,000-1mil to poor students.
