Since 2009, Binh Duong provincial administration has mapped out planning on land usage for 3 levels of province, district and commune. Accordingly, the provincial People's Committee has thus far issued the Decision on land usage planning till 2020 and Plan on land usage in the period of 2011-2015 at 8 out of 9 districts, towns and Thu Dau Mot city. On planning of land usage at communal level out of planning on urban development, district level People's Committee ratified the land usage planning at 19 out of 35 communes. Meanwhile, the planning of land usage at communal, ward and township level under planning on urban development, the provincial People's Committee ratified 32 out of 56 communes, wards and townships under districts of Phu Giao, Dau Tieng, Bac Tan Uyen and 3 towns of Tan Uyen, Thuan An and Di An.
