Improving Binh Duong's DTI in 2023 and following years

Provincial People's Committee has just issued the Plan on Improving the local Digital Transformation Index (DTI) in 2023 and the following years.

Through this plan, the province evaluates the current status of the province's annual DTI implementation, helping sectors and localities see strong points that need to be promoted and weak ones for change to build and organize the effective implementation of tasks and solutions to improve and raise the province's DTI in 2023 and the following years; assign tasks to sectors and localities to effectively implement main indexes and component ones of provincial DTI as shown in the Ministry of Information and Communications ‘Decision No. 922/QD-BTTTT.

Accordingly, departments, sectors, agencies and units under provincial People's Committee; provincial Police Agency; provincial Tax Department; provincial Statistics Department; the State Bank of Vietnam’s provincial Branch; provincial Post Office; the People's Committees of districts, towns and cities; universities and colleges in the province; telecommunications enterprises in the province have measures to improve and upgrade provincial DTIs

Provincial Department of Information and Communications will guide, inspect and urge departments, sectors, People's Committees of districts, towns, cities and relevant agencies and units to implement this plan; periodically synthesize and report to provincial People's Committee on the results of the implementation under the regulations. Heads of relevant departments, sectors, agencies and units will set up and issue detailed implementation plans and propose specific measures to improve the assigned indexes. Universities and colleges in the province will promote the application of digital technology in teaching; expand training in information technology - communications, e-commerce and digital business.
