“Youth cultural lodging house” and “mobile e-library” are the two models under activity chain of Workers’ Month and the 8th Week for Young Workers 2015. Possibly speaking, these are significant models, meeting local youth workers’ demand on spiritual life.
“Youth cultural lodging house” is the model co-held by the provincial Youth Union and Tinh Van Hoa Co.Ltd. at Huynh Thi Thanh Huong’s lodging house area in 555A, Binh Duong Avenue, Hiep Thanh ward, Thu Dau Mot city. With 34 rooms for about 100 immigrant laborers, her lodging house area is very clean and ensures order and security.
Visiting her lodging house area, the first image catching visitors’ eyes is a gym area with many tools invested adequately. Besides, there is a book reading room, being connected Internet free of charge for lodgers.
Huynh Thi Thanh Huong, director of Tinh Van Hoa Co.Ltd. said that “Lodgers’ life remains limited in information as well as in cultural and spiritual activities. Implementing this model, I hope that lodger can enjoy entertainment right at their accommodation. At present, my lodging house area has had 4 gymnastic tools, 2 bookstores and 4 computers supported by the provincial youth union. With these facilities, lodgers can enjoy relaxation and information update via Internet, building a healthy cultural life”.
In addition, the provincial supportive Center for Young Workers will monthly train skills for young lodgers. Huong added that “I think this model is very useful. Aside from working hours, young workers can enjoy weekends at book reading and gym rooms”.
Along with the model of “Youth cultural lodging house” is the “mobile e-library” model. This model promises many interesting things for not only young workers but local people by its mobile character.
Accordingly, 4 times per month this model will be carried out through bringing books, newspapers and magazines and 20 computers connected Internet to local young laborers. With this form, young workers’ demand on seeking out information will be satisfied.
Nguyen Pham Duy Trang, secretary of the provincial Youth Union said “These two models are the new activities under chain of activities in response to the Workers’ Month and the 8th provincial week for young workers 2015. With their significant purposes, these models have won great response from some enterprises, units such as the provincial library, Mobifone, Tinh Van Hoa.
