Under statistics in the past 7 days, the epidemic situation in the province is on a downward trend and gradually stabilizing. The number of new cases through PCR testing was 1,932, declining by 35.7% from the previous week while the number of recovered and discharged cases kept increasing with a total of 28,293 cases including positive rapid test cases. The number of new F0 detected in the community decreased with an average of only 51 cases a day, declining by 38% compared to the previous week. There were 37 cases of mechanical aspiration seriously transferred to the 3rd floor - a decrease of 31.5%, but the number of deaths increased by 5%. From December 13 to 19, the whole province received 24,690 F0 treatments, but up to 79.9% of F0 were asymptomatic, 94.9% had no underlying disease or received 2 vaccines, so they were mainly treated at home.
Faced with the fact that the number of F0 cases treated at home highly with about 57,000 patients, some units and localities lack antiretroviral and anticoagulant drugs. To overcome the situation, during the week, the health sector continued to review statistics, on the demand for supplies, biological chemicals, which are urgently needed to supplement the treatment of COVID-19 patients. As for medical supplies that are not urgently needed; a specific plan should be developed, and bidding should be organized to ensure objectivity and transparency. The Department of Health is coordinating with Department of Finance to review and advise the provincial People's Committee on procurement packages so as not to be passive and lack drugs in treatment.
