In the morning of August 6, Binh Duong provincial Party Committee and People's Committee launched the provincial Information Center for Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control. Attending the launching ceremony was Mr. Nguyen Van Loi, Member of the CPV Central Committee cum Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Head of the provincial Delegation of the National Assembly, Mr. Nguyen Van Loc, Standing Member cum Head of the provincial Committee for Mass Mobilization and Chairman of the provincial Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee, leaders of the provincial People's Committee and departments and branches. Up to now, the system of Information Centers for Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control has been established and connected at the provincial, district and commune levels. The system of information centers for Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control is under the direction and administration of the provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control.
The provincial Information Center for Covid-19 Prevention and Control is located in the operating room of Becamex Hotel in Binh Duong New City. Speaking at the launching ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Loi said that the province expects that the system of these operational information centers can continuously update information and connect at all levels to promptly give directions for handling suitable news. Specifically, the provincial Information Center for Covid-19 Prevention and Control will act as the commanding center for combat operations by operating and commanding the system of receiving, giving unified command, and coordinating the quick and smooth responding forces from the province to the commune levels. Thereby, it promptly and effectively handle people's complaints and requests about health, support and relief through the 1022 hotline, press information, and social networks to ensure security, order, and social safety during the Covid-19 epidemic.
According to Mr. Nguyen Van Loi, in the near future, Binh Duong is expected to bring about 50,000 F1 cases and 10,000 asymptomatic F0 cases to home quarantine. Accordingly, the main task of the P\provincial Information Center for Covid-19 Prevention and Control will be to promptly process information given by people, especially people living and working in dangerous areas of high risks, especially in the epidemic center. The Secretary of the provincial Party Committee will participate in administering and directing the activities of the Information Center for the Prevention and Control of the Covid-19 epidemic and request its members to react quickly and promptly to distribute information, analyze tasks for agencies, departments, branches and localities to support people, not to let people fall into poverty and endanger their lives.
By the establishment and operation of the provincial Information Center for Covid-19 Prevention and Control, Binh Duong is trying to improve the capacity of receiving people's feedback from the hotline of 1022 from 10,000 to 15,000 calls a day; at the same time, it speeds up the handling and coordination among agencies and units in order to timely respond and well solve urgent and pressing problems of the people. This is considered one of the drastic and urgent steps to help the province soon zone out for good control and progress to repel the epidemic in the near future.
