Activities of green tree planting, hygiene maintenance at residential areas… are good deeds of the “5 nought, 3 clean” movement.
In this year, the provincial Women Union at all levels focuses on the national week on clean water-environmental hygiene. One of important works of the national week includes promulgation on harmful effects of environmental pollution, climate change.
The women union at all levels have launched movements of street cleaning with the participation of over 32,000 sisters. Especially, Thu Dau Mot town Women Union has mobilized 476 small traders to keep environmental hygiene.
In addition, the union at all levels has spurred the “5 nought, 3 clean” movement effectively. 5 nought includes non-violence in family, no giving third child, nonviolation of laws and social evils, no malnutritious children and no children quitting schools whilst 3 clean encompasses house clean, kitchen clean and gate clean.
Additionally, the union’s 30 clubs of “Improving community’s health”, “Women and environment”, “self-control team”… have upheld efficiency. The union’s members are a key force leading in movements and they are positive promulgators for families and localities.
