Provincial Women’s Union has launched a writing contest themed “Initiatives on environmental protection, natural resource management and use”, contributing to protecting the environment and dealing with climate change.
With 200 questions on environment and documents relating to the Environmental Protection Law, the Bio-diversification Law and the Forest Protection-Development Law, provincial Women’s Union has made the contest’s contents, which are suitable to the actual situation together with timely solutions, contributing to protecting the environment.
Especially, the contest focuses on the content of “Forest-The Value of Life for Nature”. Dang Thi Mong Huyen, vice-chairwoman of provincial Women’s Union said that from now till Sept.2011, the organizing board of the contest will receive nearly 12,000 entries from officials and members of the local Women’s Unions at all levels…
There will be a lot of prizes for outstanding collectives and individuals at the contest, including one first prize for the best individual worth VND1mln and one first prize for the best collective worth VND2mln. It is hoped that many profound and effective initiatives will be discovered at the contest, contributing to bringing provincial strategy on environmental protection, natural resource management and use between 2011 and 2015 into life.
