From Dec.15 to 19, the delegation made inspection tours of the province-based confectionary and milk manufacturing facilities and worked with provincial Department of Industry and Trade, Market Control Department, Health Department’s Inspection and Food Safety-Hygiene Department on a plan to ensure food safety-hygiene before, during and after the 2012 Tet (Lunar New Year) holiday.
The delegation was set up on Nov.21, 2011 under MOIT’s Decision No.6008/QD-BCT. Accordingly, the delegation will pay working visits to four provinces and cities, including HCM city, Can Tho, Dong Nai and Binh Duong. “During the inspection process, the delegation will directly work with the Departments of Trade and Industry and Market Control Departments of the above localities; make inspection tours of the food trading and processing facilities herein…”, delegation head Do Huu Quang.
