Following the launch of the 2025 provincial Summer Volunteer Youth Campaign, numerous meaningful programs and activities have spread widely, with the spirit of enthusiasm, dedication and creativity of the youth. These efforts reflect the strong sense of commitment and responsibility of Youth Union members and young people towards their homeland and the nation.

As early as late April, provincial Youth Union organized the launching ceremony of the 2025 Summer Volunteer Youth Campaign at Long Tan commune’s Cultural - Sports and Community Learning Center in Dau Tieng district. This meaningful event marked the beginning of a passionate journey for Binh Duong’s youth this summer, with high determination to contribute to building a civilized, modern and compassionate homeland.
The launching ceremony was vibrant with practical activities such as the introduction of provincial-level campaign steering team; presentation of youth projects and meaningful gifts to children and policy-beneficiary families and the debut of 13 core volunteer teams. A highlight of this year’s campaign is the support from agencies, organizations and businesses, which contributed to the implementation of practical projects, including repairing houses for people with meritorious service, providing free health check-ups and medicine for 200 residents, implementing “National Flag Streets” and green youth tree lines, inaugurating security camera systems, launching digitalized streets, carrying out various community digital transformation support activities…Additionally, the program awarded 20 scholarships to children and teenagers and gave 10 gift sets for policy-beneficiary families.
Tran Thi Diem Trinh, Secretary of provincial Youth Union shared: “This year’s campaign features new highlights and models that meet current needs and enhance the quality of Youth Union activities. Particularly, digital transformation, community support and social welfare will be emphasized throughout the campaign. This year, specialized volunteer teams have been introduced in such specific fields as “Exam Season Support”, “Green Summer”, “Red Phoenix Flower”, “Pink Holiday”, “Green March”, “Young Intellectuals in Science and Technology Transfer”, “Digital Youth”, “Digital Literacy for All”, “Urban and Rural Civilization”, “Environmental Protection”, and “Young Doctors for Community Health”...Accordingly, diversifying volunteer models not only meets real-life demands, but also offers Youth Union members the chance to gain experience, develop themselves and grow through labor and service to the people. This is how the Youth Union concretizes President Ho Chi Minh’s teaching: “Wherever youth is needed, youth will be there; wherever challenges arise, youth will overcome them”.

As part of the 2025 provincial Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign, provincial Youth Union and Youth Federation organized the 2025 Caravan Journey under the theme of “Continuing tradition, building homeland". During the journey, the delegation visited historical sites, namely Binh Duong provincial Museum, Kien An Forest Historical Site; paid tribute to a Heroic Vietnamese Mother; participated in a dialogue with historical witnesses on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification; visited two outstanding youth startup enterprises in Binh Duong province: Dinh Hoa Lacquerware Village and Thach Hoa Orchid Garden. Notably, the delegation donated youth-led community projects with a total value of VND 100 million.
At the district and municipal levels, Youth Union branches also launched their first summer volunteer activities. For instance, the Standing Committee of Ben Cat city’s Youth Union and local Youth Union branches simultaneously launched activities in response to provincial campaign with such various activities as cleaning and maintaining martyrs’ cemeteries and memorial sites; organizing a “Zero-dong market”; visiting and offering gifts to policy-beneficiary families; cleaning up agencies ‘headquarters and key roads; launching the “Digital Literacy for All” movement by helping citizens install digital signatures, digital apps and guiding them in using online public services. These activities aim at fostering the proactive and volunteer spirit among Youth Union members and young people in implementing the 2025 work program with the theme of “Ben Cat Youth are proud and firmly believe in the Party". Thu Dau Mot city’s Youth Union held the “Red Seeds” festival and the “Young People of Thu Land Returning to Historical Sites” journey with incense and flower offerings, flag-raising ceremonies and singing of the national anthem at the Phu Loi Prison Historic Site.
The 2025 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign plays an important role in educating youth about ideals and revolutionary ethics, improving practical skills and community service spirit. It helps build a generation of Binh Duong youth who are courageous, intelligent, compassionate and capable of contributing significantly to the industrialization and modernization of the homeland in the new era.
Immediately following the launching ceremony, volunteer activities were promptly rolled out. Youth Union members enthusiastically began implementing the “Digital Literacy for All” program by guiding citizens to install the VNeID app, register for level-2 electronic identification accounts, use online public services and install the digital social insurance app, contributing to strengthening digital capabilities within the community.
