Local education and training has been integrated and inherited from advanced global education. International cooperation of universities has been the right direction for basically and comprehensively reforming of education and training to satisfy the needs of industrialization and modernization.
Human resource plays a decisive role in the cause of industrialization and modernization. Education and training has been entrusted with extremely important tasks of creating new generations satisfying the needs of socio-economic development of the nation. Upholding such major tasks, local Department of Education and Training and universities have their strategies of rightful development in good direction and tendency. Evaluating the matter, Le Nhat Nam, the Deputy Director of Department of Education and Training asserted that education institutions have been clearly developed in quantity and quality in various form of education and social support to earn good outcome and to supply highly qualified human resources to the society, significantly contributing to economic growth, social stability, national defense-security, and global integration.

International cooperation of professional education institutions has been developed in width and depth. The signing is not all but the exchange of teachers. Universities have invited instructors from world’s largest universities including Belarus National University, Saint Peterburg National University, Chosun University, among others. Besides, universities including Thu Dau Mot University and Binh Duong University have regularly organized international workshop to update and equip their instructors and students with necessary knowledge in the stage of global integration. Doctor Cao Viet Hieu, the President of Binh Duong University informed of the connected education and researches ever since establishment with over 30 universities and institutes worldwide. International cooperation contributed to the improvement of education quality, science and technology and especially the improvement of school management.
Eastern International University (EIU) has cooperated with USA universities in academic affairs regarding the technical adjustment of Faculty of Technology in coordination with Chungnam National University from Daejeon, Korea under MOAs of student exchange in training programs and researches, exchange of business administration program. Meantime, Thu Dau Mot University coordinated with British Companies to promote international cooperation in Faculty of Environment, Faculty of Economics, and Faculty of Chinese. Medical College is now one of the members of Dutch SMS Project to improve quality of medical employees and Australian QUT Project to improve nursing training quality by practical competence.
As far as international cooperation is concerned, universities have dispatched their teachers to study oversea and exchanged their students in cultural and art environment to know more about other countries.
