On 26 Sep, the supervising delegation of Provincial People's Permanent Council headed by Trinh Duc Tai, Member of Provincial People's Permanent Council, Head of Culture and Social Commission, examined the actual situation and state management of investment and usage of cultural and sports institutions in Thuan An town.
Thuan An town has 1 cultural historical monuments at national level (Phu Long communal house), 4 cultural historical monuments at provincial level, 4 cultural historical monuments at town level and 5 cultural sports-community learning centers. In addition, there are 151 cultural institutions and 205 sports institutions invested by socialization sources with the total cost of about VND200 billion.
Members of the delegation surveyed the effectiveness of libraries, reading rooms as well as the usage and exploitation of cultural sports institutions, and cultural sports-community learning centers. Delegates confirmed that Thuan An town had paid attention to the management, exploitation and usage of cultural sports institutions. Despite of many difficulties, the town maintained many activities, thoroughly exploited the grounds, developed cultural sports movements. Thuan An town also proposed departments and sectors of the province early guide the implementation of the project merging cultural sports center with community learning center according to Decision No. 2523 of Provincial People's Committee. The delegation noted comments, recommendations of the town and report to provincial functional departments for resolution.
