Over the past time, all level party committees and authorities have upheld synthetic strength of the entire political system from provincial level to district level and people for the work on national security, crime control and social order maintenance.
In 2013, the entire province occurred 1,147 criminal cases, arresting 1,501 offenders, finding out 437 breaches of economy and 248 other cases of environmental protection law, 302 breaches of narcotics, 52 breaches of prostitution and many more.
Concluding the conference, the provincial People’s Committee vice chairman Huynh Van Nhi highly valued results of the work on crime, narcotics, prostitution, AIDS and human trafficking control and simultaneously asked all level agencies and sector to spur and launch the central and provincial party committee’s directives, circulars on crime control; to educate laws for students and laborers; to combine with the movement of “All people unite to build a cultural life in residential areas”; to encourage the public to join in denouncing crimes; to accelerate inspections of the work on crime, narcotics, prostitution, AIDS and human trafficking control across communes, wards and townships.
In addition, functional agencies should counsel the provincial People’s Committee to assign cadres to localities in a bid to launch inspections. On this occasion, the provincial People’s Committee granted merit certificates to 18 collectives, 19 individuals for their excellent achievements in implementing the Directive 21-CT/TW; 20 workgroups, 22 individuals for their outstanding fruits in implementing the Directive 48-CT/TW; 14 collectives and 10 individuals for their achievements in the 2013 work on crime and narcotic control.
