Currently, Tam is a student of enterprise accounting in junior college mode of Binh Duong University of Economics and Technology.Or Truong Thi Ly, who secured VND 3-4 million a month, accepted the job for being able to manage her time for family.The company also offers trips for workers to relax annually let alone ocassional entertainment and extra meals.Authority and enterprises linked in job creationAside from 2 major companies located locally, Chanh My has 27 establishments of handicrafts, construction, and iron welding.According to Mr. Vuong Thanh Bao, Deputy Chair of local People’s Committee, those establishments have been in good growth to create manual jobs.Of 1,236 working people aged 15-60, up to date, the commune has 869 people in stable jobs.Chanh My Commune not only integrated vocational to job creation but also promoted connection with CEP Fund of Provincial Labor Union, Bank of Social Policies, and other funding institutions to offer loans for production and business in suitable industries.Talking to us, Mr. Bao informed that from the beginning of the year, the whole commune had 300 families in poverty and near poverty accessible to CEP Fund let alone families offered with loans from Bank of Social Policies.Majority of the families making loans, they used the money for their children in vocational courses or investment into career switching or vendor.Thus, by the end of September, the commune has only 43 families in poverty under new criteria or at 1.76% with orientation to year’s end to 7 families in poverty or at 0.29%.However, Chanh My Commune shall not be satisfied with the current achievements for future vocational training plans have been projected as confirmed by Mrs. Nguyen Thi Bach Tuyet, Chair of Chanh My Commune People’s Committee.“It is expected that we shall initiate the work in 2014 with more favorable offers to more people including revolutionary contributors, families in poverty, ethnic communities, disables, people affected by planning regions, soldiers after army services, etc. so as to meet demand of labor market,” said TuyetReported by Trinh Hoang Translated by Vi Bao
