Lately, Dong Nam College for Economics and Technology, in collaboration with provincial Job Center and companies in and out of the province, organized the first job festival for students and laborers.

The first job festival of Dong Nam College for Economics and Technology aimed to introduce the policies on human resource development at the province’s demand for labor market; introduce businesses’ recruitment demand; create the chance for students to exchange information. It also gave students more support on skills to make job application forms and helped them receive support services from businesses... Nguyen Thi Thu Diem, student of the school said: “This job festival is very useful, helping students seek jobs suitable to their ability after graduation”.

Accordingly, it is expected that there will be many businesses with the recruitment demand reaching 1,000-2,000 laborers. Huynh Van Trong, principle of the school said: “The objective of the first job festival is to create the chance for students and recruiters to exchange information. The festival job also aims to help students quickly seek jobs suitable to their ability …”.
Policies on human resources training
Human resource training at socio-economic development demand is the core task of Dong Nam College for Economics and Technology. To achieve this, the school has made efforts in pursuing the motto of “Theory must go together with practice-School closely links up with businesses”. As a result, there were 37 students of the first training course of the school getting jobs while more than 80% of students of the second training course have also sought places for their probation period.
Under the above motto, Dong Nam College for Economics and Technology bravely organized the job festival.
