Joining hands to drive off addictive drugs

Addictive drugs have become danger for human and risky of human health increasing crimes and affecting social security. Thus, Prime Minister decided to choose June 26 as the day for the whole public preventing addictive drugs and annual June is the month of actions against addictive drugs.

Coordination and information dissemination boosted

Determining the major tasks of addictive drug prevention, Drug Crime Police Division of Binh Duong Provincial Police (PC47) has made robust information dissemination about drug crimes and guidance on addictive drug detoxication at home and in communities while recording files of the addicts in compulsory detoxication centers. Nearly 1,500 persons have attended.

Concurrently, the drug crime police divisions of Thu Dau Mot City, towns and districts in the province have coordinated with ward police force to implement information dissemination on addictive drug prevention in schools helping workers and the public identify the bad effects of addictive drugs.

According to Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Van Nghia, Deputy Chief of PC47, the achievements were thanks to the coordination in fight and preventing drug crimes with other police forces which has been harmoniously made to promote effectiveness of crime prevention in a bid to ensure social security and orders.

Synthetic drugs – the unpredictable tragedy

According to Nghia, the drug crime eyes younger ages. And, the greatest risks were that the population of synthetic drug users grew in the contemporary time for addictive of drugs of stronger hallucination effects. Synthetic drugs are made by combining chemical components to create stronger stimulations and hallucinations. Those abusers may face the intense status. Besides, the addicts is facing fatal risks and losing self-control.

Due to the risks and effects of addictive drugs to social security and order, for the time to come, the police force shall concentrate on discovering and eliminating addictive drug using and abuse.
