Provincial Red Cross Society has also maintained the mother for many years under the task of paying debt of gratitude. In addition, the society has mobilized the family of Huynh Van Rang in Thuan An city’s Lai Thieu ward to provide the mother with the monthly subsidy of VND300,000.
Nguyen Thi Le Trinh, Chairwoman of provincial Red Cross Society said that heroic Vietnamese mothers have always got special care from the Party and State. Maintaining the mother is seen as one of the efforts by the society in joining hands with the local administration to take care of revolutionary contributors while paying tribute to contributions by the mother to the cause of national liberation and defence.
The province has also mobilized organizations, units, enterprises and individuals to offer gifts to revolutionary contributors on Tet and great holidays; provide free medical check-up, medicine and gifts for them and donate saving books to those with extremely difficult circumstances…In recent years, Phuoc Vinh township in Phu Giao district has donated saving books to revolutionary contributors with extremely difficult circumstances. Or, Bau Bang district’s Young Physicians ‘Club has also coordinated with units, donors to provide free medical check-up, medicine and gifts for needy revolutionary contributors…
Always paying attention to paying debt of gratitude
Vo Huynh Ngoc Thuy, Chairwoman of Binh Nham ward’s People’s Committee in Thuan An city said that most policy beneficiary families and revolutionary contributors herein have secured a stable life. This result came from the integral efforts by the local administration and people in the task of “paying debt of gratitude”.
According to statistics by provincial Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs (DoLISA), the whole province last year mobilized more than VND5.6billion from organizations and individuals to take care of revolutionary contributors via such significant activities as offering gifts to them on Tet, Martyrs and War Invalids ‘Day, July 27; upgrading gratitude houses…
Nguyen Ngoc Hang, Deputy Director of provincial Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs said that most revolutionary contributors in the province have got living standards that are equal or higher than that of the local residents. Over the past time, authorities at all levels of the province paid more attention to well realizing policies for revolutionary contributors while strengthening socialization in taking care of these targeted people. Many units, organizations, enterprises and donors expressed their responsibilities by maintaining heroic Vietnamese mothers, offering gifts to revolutionary contributors on Tet and great holidays…, thereby joining hands with the province to give better care for the lives of the local revolutionary contributors.
