In 2018, provincial Sponsoring Association for Disabled, Orphans and Poor Patients awarded 2.548 scholarships worth more than VND1.4billion to needy pupils; visited, gave gifts worth more than VND2.1billion, provided free medical check-up and medicine for 976 disadvantaged people with a total expense of more than VND102million; offered 189 bicycles, wheelchairs to orphans and disabled people; built and upgraded 13 charity and “great unity” houses with a total expense of VND889million; introduced jobs to 25 disabled people…The association also implemented a community-based project on giving vocational training for poor laborers…
