Yin Hwa Co.Ltd. at the Dong An Industrial Park is a typical example for the above mentioned thing. On this occasion, the company has organized a three-day tour to Da Lat for its laborers. Pham Van Son, President of the company’s Trade Union said that the company has always paid more attention to taking care of the spiritual and material lives of laborers, thereby contributing to promoting its production-business activities.
Or, Panko Vina Co.Ltd. at Ben Cat town-based My Phuoc 1 Industrial Park will organize an art performance for laborers on the evening of April 29, which is expected to absorb around 1,000 laborers. Provincial Support Center for Young Workers will also team up with Ben Cat town’s Trade Union to organize a get-together for members of the Club connecting young workers. At the get-together, participating workers will have a chance to perform their singing and dancing skills.
Prior to that, the Trade Union of Long Yi In Dustrial Co.Ltd. also kicked off the sixth men and women’s football tournament 2018 for workers, helping them take physical exercises…
Laborers enjoying spiritual, material lives
Truong Thi Bich Hanh, Chairwoman of provincial Labor Union said that over the past time, provincial trade unions at all levels made efforts in improving the spiritual and material lives of workers. Along with hastening the progress of construction of cultural centers, they continued expanding support models for workers.
The province is now home to nearly 1 million laborers. Most of them have got stable jobs with the average income of between VND5.5million and VND7.5million per capita per month. On the occasion of the Tet (Lunar New Year) festival 2018, provincial trade unions at all levels spent more than VND100million from State budget on offering 355,000 gifts to workers with difficult circumstances while mobilizing businesses to give more than 150,000 gifts worth more than VND50billion for these workers.
Under the “Sentimental bus” program 2018, provincial trade unions at all levels also offered nearly 4,000 bus tickets to trade unionists and workers to return home for Tet with a total expense of around VND3.7billion; coordinated with Mobifone to take 500 workers with difficult circumstances to home for Tet with their relatives. Especially, they in collaboration with the People’s Committees of districts, towns and TDM city gave 9,100 gifts worth VND500,000 each for needy workers who stayed in the province for Tet.
So far, provincial trade unions at all levels have also put forward many forms to take care of workers, including building kindergartens, breast milk cabins; organizing stores buying goods at basic prices, cultural-sports activities…
