After the provoke riots, majority of enterprises have returned to their operation; and, workers are back to their work.

by Mr. Tran Van Hoat at Dong An II QuarterEver since May 16, the working group of Provincial Labor Union has visited over 100 enterprises badly affected by the riot. Enterprises have returned to operation with visits to factory workers of work stoppage caused by bad-intention elements disturbing the security and wrecking up equipment and factories of enterprises.The working team led by Mrs. Truong Thi Bich Hanh, Deputy Chair of Provincial Labor Union, visited and listened to the mass of factory workers of Active International Corporation in Song Than Industrial Park.Addressing the team, Ms. Tran Thi Huong said: “When we saw the destruction, over 600 of us were so astounded. All of us were so angry with the provoke ones destructing properties of enterprises and affecting our work.”According to an unnamed representative of Active International Corporation, the company shall recover and restore production at the soonest. Currently, one factory of the company is unaffected, thus, factory workers are joining up to restore production. The representative informed that the Board of Directors assure them of job positions and production restoration.After encouraging talks, Mrs. Truong Thi Bich Hanh announced the disputed action of China violating island and ocean territory of Vietnam among policies of the Party and the State. Hanh called upon factory workers not to follow the provoking words of bad-intention forces and not to join any riots protesting China.Mr. Le Van Minh, a factory worker, requested for coordination of the Labor Union and local authorities to offer hostel fee payment extension to share up the hardship of the workers affected. Many others were perflexed about their social insurance documents got burnt and requested for soonest finalization of insurance policies for them to either return home seeking for new jobs or staying.After listening to the factory workers, Hanh asserted that functional agencies should consider to support them.Previously, Hanh visited Sao Viet Joint Stock Company and Bowker Garment Co.
